| Off market within two weeks | 49.9% | 38.3% | 37.1% |
How to read the result
Chesterfield had the highest median sale price and the most sales. Henrico showed the shortest median market time. Richmond city had the highest share going off market within two weeks even though its median sale price was lower than the two counties. Speed and price level are related to different mixes of homes and should be read separately.
What buyers can do with it
Use the two-week share as a planning signal, not a deadline for every property. Fresh, well-positioned listings may demand faster preparation, while stale or repeatedly changed listings deserve a different read.
What sellers can do with it
A quick county median does not prove that an ambitious list price will work. Launch condition, photography, showing access and comparison support still determine whether a home joins the fast cohort.
Method and limits
Redfin county measures include residential property types and are subject to revision. Median prices describe the homes sold in that period, not appreciation of a constant home.
Values were extracted from the provider's public county-level file or report, normalized to a common jurisdiction label, and checked for duplicate jurisdiction-period records. No client MLS export or private customer data were used. Provider definitions remain authoritative and may be revised.
